Krista Irish is in her third year as the head diving coach for the Colonials.
A former diver for the University of Maryland at College Park, Krista has
been coaching since high school. In addition to her duties at George
Washington, Irish is an assistant coach for the Montgomery Dive Club in
Rockville, MD.
Irish received a bachelor's degree in history from Maryland in 2000. She
qualified for the diving finals of the Atlantic Coast Conference
Championships during both of her seasons at Maryland. Prior to diving with
the Terrapins, Irish trained with the Montgomery Dive Club. She also spent
six summers as the head diving coach at the Old Georgetown Club in Bethesda,
MD, and one summer as the head diving coach at the Cardinal Hill Swim and
Racquet Club in Vienna, VA.
Irish resides in Berwyn Heights, MD.
