Noonan, Smith Clock In With Personal Record Times at Duke

April 7, 2008

DURHAM, NC - Junior Audrey Noonan and sophomore Meaghan Smith both set personal records at the Duke Invitational last weekend.

Noonan, who finished in 17:33, broke her previous PR (18:14.80), which she set at the 2006 Carnegie Mellon Invitational, by over 41 seconds.

Smith ran the 5K in 17:57, breaking her old mark of 18:11.

Both of these times would have placed the pair of cross country stars in the top ten at last year's Atlantic 10 Championships. Noonan would have placed in the top five.
